A Personal and Professional Odyssey of 2023

Looking back at 2023, it's been a game-changer for me, both personally and professionally! The year kicked off feeling a bit incomplete and indirectly unhappy on a personal level – trying to move a mountain that seemed as still as ever., and work was kinda meh. That's when I decided to shake things up by finally going on that dream Euro-Trip solo. It turned out to be a blast—exploring cities, soaking in cultures, and indulging in local cuisine with an old friend I connected with along the way! Little did I know, each experience left its mark on me, pushing me to uncover some hidden truths about myself.

One highlight? Fearlessly navigating an unknown city with my mom. The proud smiles on both our faces just added that extra sprinkle of magic to the year. I've never felt more connected to her, and it was like she finally saw the real me!

You know, they say good things come when they're destined, but you got to keep working on yourself no matter what! This trip was a major player in my growth at both ends. Sure, there were some not-so-great experiences too, not everyone's cup of tea to discuss. But hey, I had my share. For a girl, once cocooned in the protective shell of her parents, now spreading her wings wide in the world and seeing it for what it truly is! (Well, sure she had already started to flap few years back.)

Hitting the brakes directly after, it felt like falling back to zero—back into the trap. I was just doing bits here and there, dealing with heartbreak, tricky client, stuck with unpaid bills, and a general lack of clarity – it was a wild ride.

Exploring new places made me realize how crucial it is to do justice to your craft and authenticity, even on the smallest scale. That's what makes us unique – the imperfect YOU that no one can copy!

The opportunities were always around but now I was actually able to seize them. Against the wishes of a loved one, took a chance and gave it my all, letting my creativity shine, becoming confident and focusing only on the work that needed to be done. One thing led to another, and I found my way! My purpose, my clarity on myself and life. It finally clicked that I can't control life or the situations I'll face; I just must take charge and make choices in the present, regardless of the future. And you know what? The right things started knocking.

Ending the year with heaps of clarity and confidence, I've become a completely different person.

Grateful for those who supported and wronged me, and for the life lessons learned!
